“I’m trying, I’m trying!” Lashtail wailed. Her tutor, a leapord named Ruffledfur was teaching her and some other new trainee warriors how to battle in the air. I couldn’t dare snicker, but I almost did. On my own, I had to swiftly learn how when I was first exiled and had to fight off some senior warriors to make a quick escape.
“Well, don’t just try try try, do do do!” he sighed in exasperation. I had watched as everyone mastered the skill, and she was taking twice as long to do so. I desperately wished that she never got it right, but eventually she did did did. And soon she was almost where I was. Oh, well.
